ADMISSION: Representing North Carolina doesn’t matter

Southeastern North Carolina has always been a special and unique place for so many who were born here as well as for others who have moved here and now call the area their home.  Ilario Pantano, however, by his own admission, doesn’t care WHAT state or region he would represent.

When talking to a Nevada crowd, Pantano boasted:

“Somebody asked me a couple of days ago ‘Where in North Carolina are you running for Congress?’ I said, ‘Don’t worry about that.  I’m running for the U.S. Congress. That’s your Congress.  And whether I’m running in North Carolina, Texas or Idaho, it doesn’t make a difference.'”

It seems the title and office are the only things Pantano cares about in this election, and not the real problems 7th District residents face at home.
