Media exposes Pantano’s edited campaign ads

Posted on September 28, 2010

On September 27th, Anderson Cooper called out Ilario Pantano for removing the parts of his interviews with Stone Phillips and Ann Curry that mention that Pantano was charged with premeditated murder and worked for Goldman Sachs on Wall Street.  To paint only the positive picture of himself, Pantano then used those edited clips in his commercials in an attempt to mislead voters.  The Pantano portion starts at 2:07.

The story was first broken by The Hill, which reported on the editing of controversial details from Pantano’s biography on September 23.
